Artist Animation
A few years ago I started partnering with a select group of fine artists to help bring their work to life through the medium of animation. These pieces are used for events, promotional content, and film festivals. Below is is a selection of some of my favorites.
The Love Child
Jay Gittens, known to the world as The Love Child, is a Grenada-born, self-taught painter who found his voice in the colorful and vivid paintings that would go on to become his charismatic style. He invited me to bring one of his magical worlds to life through animation.
El Mar
Calm and enchanting, unstable and dangerous, Cami Galofre's paintings grow, shift, and dissolve before your very eyes. This piece premiered at the Supernova Digital Animation Festival in Denver, CO in 2019.
No Service
Working with sculptors, painters, woodworkers and more, I created a series of unique animations for each artist’s work to be played at a pop-up art party in NYC thrown by the Ready Made Collective in 2019.
