Onboard at the luxury Diamond Princess cruise ship in January of 2020, people had no idea that the deadly novel coronavirus boarded the ship with them turning the floating paradise into their worst nightmare. The documentary premiered as a Peacock Original in September 2022.

Matte Projects brought me on as an art director and animator back in 2020 before they any funding. Over the course of nearly two years, we pored through hundreds of documents, manifests, maps and other primary source materials, creating a dynamic visual system to supplement the harrowing narrative.
